The summer district meeting for District 15 will be on Wednesday 26 July 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Lansing parish hall. The purpose of the meeting is to disseminate information and to answer questions about the activities of the Knights of Columbus during the new fraternal year, which starts 1 July 2017. Council officers and, very importantly, Council program and membership directors, are invited and strongly encouraged to attend. At 7:00 pm there will be a light meal provided by the Lansing Council, followed by the meeting. Please pray for the success of this meeting and for the success of the Knights of Columbus in Iowa during the upcoming fraternal year, and please plan to start the fraternal year off right with an Admissions (1st) Degree Exemplification in July in your Council; the primary responsibility of the Knights of Columbus is to make available to every practical Catholic man the numerous benefits of membership in our Order, especially that of protecting a man's family with life insurance.
I look forward to working with you this coming year and strengthening the bonds of fraternity in this band of brothers, the Knights of Columbus. Peace be with you, and Vivat Jesus!
