Thanks, Steve, for the update on the Council 1228 webmaster, and thanks to Brother Richard for taking on the responsibility. I've checked out the website, and it looks good.
That being said, I hope you'll post pictures, events, news, etc., here on IowaKofC.org so that the rest of us in the State can know the wonderful things you are doing, which is good to let non-members and members alike know how we are serving Christ.
Peace be with you all!
We have a webmaster for our council! That is so way cool because as you can tell, I'm like at a total loss for what to add to this group. Sir Knight Richard Brown has stepped up and actually built us a real web page: http://www.crestonknights.org
Even more importantly, he has sworn to update it with lots of useful information.
During Lent the Knights of Columbus are setting aside one minute every day to pray for the unborn. They invite all parishioners to join them in this prayer:
Dear Father, We ask You to protect our brothers and sisters now forming their earthly vessels in their mothers womb. Comfort their mothers and fathers. Lord Jesus, give these smallest of persons the strength to be born — to fully participate in Your creation. May Your Holy Spirit infuse their souls with love for You and bring them safely home to Your heavenly kingdom after long, healthy and lov- ing lives.
