I joined the Knights in 1985 at Iowa Falls Council 5835 and took my 2nd and 3rd shortly thereafter at Eagle Grove. While there I served as the council "advocate".
In 1987 I transferred to Council No 2074 in Denison and served as Grand Knight from 1989 - 1992. I was Awarded the Sioux City Diocese Grand Knight of the Year.
I served as District Deputy from 1991-1995 and earned the distinction of Top 10 District Deputy.
I become a 4th degree Knight at the 1992 Mason City convention and am currently a member of Garrigan Assembly in Sioux City.
I transferred to Council No 2839 Holy Rosary in 1995 and served as Treasurer for a number of years and as Grand Knight from 2010-2012
I served as State Church Director from 1994-2002.
I was elected to the office of State Warden and served 2002-2004 followed by State Secretary 2004-2006 and State Deputy 2006-2008.
I served as the State New Council Development Director and assisted with getting 5 councils started, most notably 2 additional college councils.
In 2010 I was asked to pioneer the Iowa Knight Life www.iowaknightlife.org our "Voice of the Iowa Knights" podcast and radio program.
I served as the State Membership Director 2012-2014 and help PSD Joe Ramirez to Circle of Honor one year.
I am currently serving as State Deputy completing the term vacated by Dan Werner.
