Venerable Michael J. McGivney Guild - All Souls Novena of Masses

Each day between 24 October and 2 November, All Souls Day, Father Gabriel B. O’Donnell, postulator of the cause for Venerable Father McGivney, celebrates Mass for all deceased relatives and friends of Guild members. The All Souls Novena of Masses is celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, birthplace of our Order and final resting place of Venerable Father McGivney.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Msgr. J.M. Hanson Council 5038 Knights of Columbus in Ankeny is sponsoring a Raffle for Life. This raffle benefits the Gabriel Project, a parish-based, crisis pregnancy program.

All boys and girls in grades two through eight are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2012 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge 8 September 2012 from 9 AM to Noon at Davenport Soccer Fields. Communtiy Director Update: Fall Event Ideas

My Brother Knights: As we approach the Fall season here are some things we can do in our communities to make them a better place for all of us.

When coming to help some of the elderly we can rake leaves off their yards as well as cleaning around the outside of their homes. Offer to check the gutters so they are free of debris form the past Summer and early Fall. There is no need for ice jams on the roofs when then winter season comes.  These jams are causes of major roof…
