The VA Central Iowa Health Care System has asked for the Iowa Knights of Columbus help collecting used books, magazines, and games for use at their Des Moines facility. The items will be used by the Veterans who are patients and by visiting Veterans and families in the waiting areas.

Since 1993 Slumberland has been helping kids get the restful sleep they require by giving new beds to families in need. Through their 40 Winks Foundation and Making Homes for the Holidays donation event, they have given more than 20,000 beds to families who would otherwise be sleeping on the floor.
