Assembly 262 Donates to Brushy Creek Honor Flight

Sir Knights of Clement Smythe Assembly 262 based in and around Fort Dodge are shown presenting funds to Ron Newsum, chairman and founder of Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight, a group of dedicated volunteers that sends veterans on a flight to Washington D.C. , to visit the memorials which were erected in their honor. Assembly 262 earlier this year spear headed a fundraiser which resulted in a donation of $1455.

In addition several Councils in the area have also made donations to the honor flight including $600 from Council 613 in Fort Dodge and $920 from Council 838 in Webster City.
