Dear Brother Knight, Family, and/or Volunteers:

We are excited to announce that the Iowa State Knights of Columbus Convention will be taking place from April 4th to 6th in Dubuque, IA, and we need your help to make this event a success!

 

The Knights of Columbus have been serving communities for over a century, and the State Convention is an important opportunity to celebrate our shared mission of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. This event will bring together brothers and families from across Iowa to grow in faith, serve others, and strengthen our bonds as Catholic men and families.

 

How You Can Help:

 

We ask that each council create a basket to help with our silent auction. Please bring them to our state convention!

 

We are also seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with a variety of roles during the convention. Your participation will ensure that this event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impact on all attendees. The following are examples of volunteer that may be available:

 

• Event Set-up and Breakdown: Help with setting up and breaking down event spaces, banners, and signage.

• Registration Assistance: Greet and assist delegates and attendees with registration and event check-in.

• Hospitality Help: Provide support for meals, snacks, and refreshments throughout the convention.

• Logistical Support: Direct attendees to key locations, assist with transportation coordination, and manage other logistics as needed.

• Youth and Family Programs: Help with activities and events designed for children, families, and youth groups attending the convention.

• Make lasting connections: Network with fellow Knights and their families from all around Iowa.

Location: Grand River Center, 500 Bell St., Dubuque, Iowa 52001

Volunteers are needed for shifts throughout the event – whether you can give a few hours or be available for the entire weekend, we appreciate any time you can offer!
