Knights hammer out a Deck

Members of St. Mary of Nazareth Council 11643, in Des Moines, learned that the 100 foot long ADA ramp at a Brother Knight's group home needed repaired, and they answered the call. Eleven Knights volunteered over 24 hours to strengthen, refurbish and re-floor the ramp and 10 ft x 14 ft patio deck. Additionally, work was done to shore-up the ramp railing.

The work done by the Brother Knights helped bring the deck and ramp into ADA compliance necessary for the neighborhood group home to remain open.
